Ancelotti: “My attacking plan was based on one player”

Carlo Ancelotti, coach of Real Madrid, believes that winning the La Liga title is not impossible, despite the negative draw against Real Beets, on Sunday evening, in the 24th round of the competition.
Ancelotti said, during statements reported by the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, “It is not normal that in the last 3 matches we scored only one goal from a free kick, since we scored 5 goals against Liverpool.”
He added, “We must be more effective, and shoot from long distances, and the difficulties we face are clear, and we have quality, but we lack efficiency.”
He continued, “Criminalization in La Liga is not impossible, but it is very difficult and complicated, and there is no doubt that we will fight to the end.”
And he concluded: “The match against Betis was open, and I put Rodrigo inside the area, because I knew that the opponent would have difficulties to stop him and Valverde, and we could have done more damage to them.”
The Royals stumbled into a draw for the second consecutive round in the league, to present a gift to their rivals Barcelona, who moved away from the lead by 9 points.
Real Madrid raised its tally to 53 points, in second place behind Barça, which has 62 points, while Betis remained in fifth place with 41 points.
